Code3apps will help fire service personnel prepare for written examinations based on the IFSTA Fire and Emergency Services Company Officer Handbook, 7th Edition. This study guide app includes a test bank with over 1,400 multiple-choice questions and more than 1,600 flashcards covering all 16 chapters of the IFSTA textbook. Each question is page-referenced to the text.

Code3apps allows you to take a comprehensive exam, study questions from a specific chapter of the book, or even build your own exam based on the chapters you wish to study. This exam prep app allows you to “favorite” questions you would like to review, and will even save all questions you answered incorrectly on any test so you can go back and look at them again.

STUDY BY CHAPTER:
Questions and flashcards are organized to match the book, from the role of the company officer, organizational structure, leadership and supervision, human resources, communication and administrative functions, through safety and wellness, training, building construction and fire behavior, inspections and preincident planning, single and multiunit emergency operations, the Fire Officer II role, origin and cause determination, and safety investigations and analyses.

SITUATIONAL QUESTIONS AND FLASHCARDS:
Beyond terms and definitions, many questions and flashcards put you in the officer’s seat with realistic situations: a crew member who is being bullied, an evaluation you need to write, a conflict on your shift, a tactical decision at a working fire. Each answer includes an explanation with the page reference, so you know why the answer is right and where to find it in the text.

PRACTICE EXAMS:
Test your full knowledge by taking one of seven practice exams that pull from across the book to help you prepare for certification and promotional exams. Four exams are built for Company Officer I and three for Company Officer II, with 100 questions each.
